The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital briefed us to produce a modular upholstered seating system for the hospital reception area. The system needed to be upholstered in an anti-bacterial vinyl.
Working with designer Matthew Hilton we were given an outline concept to cost and develop. Our first step was to produce a sample, which was then assessed by the hospital. Once minor alterations to the original design were agreed we went on to produce this completely bespoke system.
The project was completed and delivered by Coakley&Cox Ltd in 2004.
