We were briefed by designer Sophie Hicks to produce a series of sofa elements for the Yamamoto showroom in Paris.
We were given a concept and strict brief to follow. The body of the unit needed to be an angular piece that would have a very loose cover draped over it. The piece also required the addition of loose soft pillows to add a little extra comfort.
We made samples of the frame and cover, these were then approved by the client. The specific tailoring was a large part of this job as the cover had to fit loosley but formally so the seams on the underside of the chair were all level. These images show a few sample shots of the products being assemble in the factory.
